This 12-day Kenya holiday begins in Nairobi, where you arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and settle in before exploring the capital at leisure. You then journey into the scenic Great Rift Valley to the tranquil waters of Lake Naivasha for a boat ride among hippos and birdlife, before continuing to the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve for thrilling game drives and opportunities to see the Big Five, with optional cultural visits to a Maasai village.
From there, you return to Nairobi and fly to the coastal city of Mombasa, where you unwind at Diamonds Leisure Beach & Golf Resort and enjoy beach relaxation along with optional excursions to Fort Jesus, Haller Park, and marine parks. The journey concludes with your return flight home, combining safari adventure, wildlife encounters, cultural experiences, and coastal relaxation into one seamless Kenyan holiday.
Itinerary Details
1 - NAIROBI ARRIVAL
After arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly received and welcomed by our representative, who will assist you with your transfer and ensure a smooth start to your journey.
You will then be driven comfortably to your hotel in Nairobi for check-in and overnight stay. The remainder of the day will be at leisure, allowing you to relax and recover after your flight or enjoy the first impressions of the vibrant city at your own pace.

2 - FROM NAIROBI TO THE SHORES OF LAKE NAIVASHA
After breakfast, it is time to count the open plains for tranquil waters as now you have to proceed toward Lake Naivasha. You will leave the wide-open savanna behind and drive toward the beautiful Great Rift Valley region.
Make sure your camera is handy as you will stop at a Great Rift Valley viewpoint for some of the most epic photos of the trip. The stunning panoramic view from the top of the escarpment is the perfect place to snap some incredible landscape shots.
Once you arrive the hotel check in & enjoy delicious lunch and a peaceful afternoon boat ride across the lake, often surrounded by hippos and exotic birdlife. After a fresh meal, you will cruise out onto the calm water to spot pods of hippos and amazing lakeside birds up close.

3 - ONWARD TO MASAI MARA – THE HEART OF THE WILD
Today, you are off to the crown jewel of Kenya's safari circuit called Masai Mara National Reserve. Arrive in time for lunch, and after a quick refresh, head out for your first game drive in the Mara. The golden light of the afternoon brings the savannah to life & be ready to witness lions, elephants, buffalo, and maybe even the elusive leopard.
As you move deeper into the reserve, the vast open grasslands stretch endlessly ahead, offering a stunning backdrop for wildlife viewing. Every turn brings a new surprise, from grazing herds to stealthy predators, making your first game drive in the Mara an unforgettable introduction to this incredible wilderness.

4 - FULL DAY IN MASAI MARA – ADVENTURE UNLIMITED
Start your day with an early morning game drive, the best time to spot big cats on the hunt. Return for a hearty breakfast, then relax at the lodge or explore at your own pace.
In the afternoon, head out again for more wildlife encounters or choose to spend the whole day on safari with a picnic lunch in the bush (a true safari experience!).
Want to connect with local culture? Opt for an optional visit to a Masai village this afternoon, where you will get a chance meet the local community, learn traditional dances, and see their way of life.

5 - MASAI MARA – NAIROBI – FLY TO MOMBASA
After breakfast, drive from Masai Mara to Nairobi, enjoying a scenic journey through the Kenyan countryside as you leave the safari landscapes behind. On arrival in Nairobi, you will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight to Mombasa.
Upon reaching Mombasa, you will be warmly received and transferred to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the day will be at leisure, allowing you to relax by the beach, unwind after your journey, and enjoy the beautiful coastal atmosphere of Mombasa.

6-11 - MOMBASA
