Please Note: Tours start at 8:00 AM and finish at 12:00PM. The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is closed every afternoon as well as on Mondays and Fridays. During closure, the Ho Chi Minh Residence and other places in the complex can be visited as normal. From mid-June to mid-August, the Ho Chi Minh mausoleum will be closed for annual renovation. Please wear clothes that cover your knees and shoulders.

12:00 – Arrive at Tuan Chau Island, transfer to cruise ship.

12:30 – Welcome drink, cruise briefing, safety instructions, and check-in. Cruise begins.

13:00 – 14:30 – Enjoy a special Paradise Lunch onboard while cruising past islets and Hoa Cuong fishing village. Continue exploration of Halong Bay, passing Soi Sim Beach and Coconut Tree Island. Anchor near Dark and Bright Cave.

14:45 – 15:45 – Explore Dark and Bright Cave by rowing bamboo boat with locals or kayaking.

15:45 – 16:15 – Cruise through Lan Ha Bay, passing Cua Van floating village and Tien Ong Cave, then anchor in Ho Dong Tien.

16:15 – 17:00 – Swimming and kayaking at Ho Dong Tien.

17:00 – 19:00 – Happy Hour – Buy one, get one free on selected beverages, as the vessel cruises past Trong Cave, Ho Dong Tien Cave, Luon Cave, and Titop Island. Dock at Coconut Tree Island for overnight stay. Enjoy onboard spa at your leisure.

18:00 – 18:30 – Cooking demonstration with Chef – learn to make traditional Vietnamese spring rolls. Toast with local rice wine.

Start your visit at the South Gate of Angkor Thom, where statues of the gods of good and evil line the entrance. Your next stop is Bayon, a richly decorated temple. Its most distinctive feature is the hundreds of smiling faces that grace the towers. Impressive bas-reliefs tell stories of daily life and of the great battles that were fought between the Khmers and ancient Thais.

Move on to Phimeanakas, shaped like a pyramid with two ponds in the rear. Walk to the top of the temple for impressive views of the Angkor complex.

Take a short drive to Ta Prohm, one of Cambodia’s most beloved temples. Unusually, Ta Prohm is in much the same condition in which it was found. The combination of large trees growing out of the ruins and the surrounding jungle give the temple a truly magical feel.

Return to Siem Reap for lunch and to escape the hot sun. Spend the rest of the afternoon exploring magnificent Angkor Wat, the world’s largest religious monument and best-preserved temple in the complex. This visually spectacular massive three-tired pyramid has become a symbol of Cambodia, appearing on its flag. Admire the grandeur of its architecture and its extensive decoration of bas-relief friezes. End your day taking in the views of the sunset over the jungle from the top of Pre Rup Temple before returning to Siem Reap.

Travel about 45 kilometers from Siem Reap to Tonle Sap Lake. Here jump on a boat to Kompong Khleang, a village built high on stilts in Tonle Sap Lake. Discover this fascinating village that is home to about 6,000 people who earn their living mainly through fishing.

Depending on the time of year, your visit will give you a different experience. During the monsoon season starting in May, the streets fill up with water and become canals that are navigated by boat. In the dry season from March to April, the water recedes revealing the houses perched high on wooden stilts. We recommend the best time to visit is from October to January.
